L’existence de Chaignay remonterait entre -58 et -52 avant JC. Vous y découvrirez un patrimoine naturel remarquable notamment le tilleul de la Maladière datant de 220 ans, mais aussi la Fontaine de Métepain aujourd’hui réserve LPO ainsi qu’une mare refuge à proximité du lavoir. Vous cheminerez tout autour du village et surplomberez la plaine dijonnaise, où par très beau temps, on peut apercevoir le massif du Mont-Blanc.

Chaignay is thought to have existed between 58 and 52 BC. You'll discover a remarkable natural heritage, including the 220-year-old Maladière lime tree, the Métepain fountain (now an LPO reserve) and a refuge pond near the washhouse. You'll walk all around the village and overlook the Dijon plain, where on a clear day you can see the Mont Blanc massif.
