In March: The Wine and Cheese Fair

The Marcilly-sur-Tille Festival Committee has been organizing its traditional Wine and Cheese Fair for over a quarter of a century. This unmissable regional event brings together around fifty exhibitors in a friendly atmosphere, encouraging interaction between producers and visitors, whether they are connoisseurs or amateurs.

In April: The Cov’Artistes Festival

Enjoy a series of shows and concerts organized by the music school “Les 1000 & une notes.”

In May: Spring Fair and Beer Festival

The town of Is-sur-Tille organizes the Spring Fair and Beer Festival every year in May. The fair takes place in the town center and brings together local merchants and various exhibitors. Children’s rides and musical entertainment enliven the center. In the early evening, the Beer Festival welcomes local brewers and food stands to the Esplanade des Capucins. Concerts enliven this local festival.

In August: The Snail Festival

The Snail Festival takes place in the idyllic setting of Creux Bleu in Villecomte. Come and watch the big snail race for young and old alike, taste snail-based products, and enjoy a variety of activities. On the program: snail race, games for the whole family, demonstration of how Gaston the snail is made (ironwork), visits to snail farms, and more.

In October: The Truffle and Taste Buds Festival

Organized by the Tille and Ignon Valleys Tourist Office, this festive gourmet day celebrates Burgundy truffles, an iconic local product, with tastings, demonstrations, and activities. It kicks off with the traditional fresh truffle market. Demonstrations of truffle hunting with a truffle dog, entertainment, and a local farmers’ market punctuate the day.

In October: The Truffière Bike and Run

Every year, Covati organizes the Truffière Bike and Run in partnership with the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté regional triathlon league. This competition is part of their regional Bike and Run challenge. Bike and Run is a sport that involves running and cycling in teams of two, with a single mountain bike. This discipline is both athletic and fun. It is open to everyone aged 6 and above.
