Verger conservatoire et Aire Terrestre Educative d’Is-sur-Tille
En quelques mots
In 2020, the town of Is-sur-Tille set up a conservatory orchard in the Pré Jacquot with pupils from the Anatole France primary school and the PROMUT company.
The same site was chosen in 2023 by pupils from Paul Fort secondary school for the creation of an Educational Land Area.
In early 2024, an aromatic spiral was created by a class of 6th graders from the college.
After the 30 species of fruit trees planted in 2020, other trees were planted at the end of 2024 to mark a pedestrian path, as well as a small hedge towards the footbridge.
The species planted include black alder, pedunculate oak, field maple, bird's sorb, aspen, two golden weeping willows and a Lebanese cedar.
These species were selected in collaboration with the CD21 ecological and energy transition department.
